This is my story

Hi! I'm Michael, a professional photographer based in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I'm lucky enough to share the mountains I call home with my beautiful wife and two dogs who are living their best lives!

I wasn't born with a camera in my hand and didn't declare this as my undying passion when was five like some lucky folks out there. Instead, I discovered photography as an angsty high schooler, desperate to find my voice and express myself in ways other than blasting music in my beat up Subaru while driving the "mean streets" of suburbia.

For the 12 years since then I've been taking my camera nearly everywhere I go and as time goes on I realize more and more that the photographs I've taken are a beautiful way to document places and experiences I would have otherwise forgotten. It is my hope that I can do the same for you and create a time capsule full of all the details, both large and small, on one spectacular day of your unique journey.
